The value of your membership database lies in its accuracy. Where members can view and update some of the data held, the accuracy tends to be much greater. Enter i-MMS.
The Internet Membership Management System (i-MMS) is a module that forms part of the club's Web presence, and allows members to login and view selected membership details. The information presented to the member is directly controlled by the club via a module that allows selection of member data fields to display, and of those, which may be edited by the member.
The look and feel of iMMS can be tailored to the look and feel of the club's existing Web site, providing seemless and consistent presentation of data and image.
Edited data is passed back to the club based Membership Management System (MMS) and is held pending approval by a staff member. The approval process is very simple, requiring acceptance or rejection of items submitted for change by members. Once accepted the data writes to the main database, so requires no re-input by staff. Optionally an email can be sent to the member advising that the change has been accepted at the club and committed to file. Similarly, rejections can also be advised via automated email.
Mailing list subscription can be managed from within i-MMS, allowing members to opt in to mailing lists that have been made available for online selection. Members can nominate to which address any selected mailing list is to be sent, including their email address.
Marketing categories and associated marketing interests can be made available for online member selection. This becomes a valuable resource in assisting with profiling the club's membership and identifying sub-groups for communications purposes. As with mailing lists, contact to marketing groups can be by post or email.
Member accounts can be viewed online within i-MMS. Members can view account balances across each of the ledgers associated with their account, and then view transactions against any ledger in any selected accounting period. Transactions can be expanded down to item level, so an invoice can be expanded to see the individual items invoiced. A POS transaction can be expanded to show the items purchased at a point of sale terminal. The aim is to reduce member inquiry to the club on such account related matters, and experience indicates that this is very well achieved.
