Point of Sale Golf Interface

golf computer systems MMSOur POS solution is superb, both for club administration and for your members. The purpose of the POS solution is to provide tight controls on inventory and revenue, maximise gross profit, and provide a fast and easy to use POS environment for staff at the coal face.

In a hospitality environment we see a wide variety of staff from all walks of life. Some are steady and rock solid, and others are not. Unfortunately POS is an area where the unscrupulous can have a field day, so this has been addressed in the solution we offer.

Metering adds controls and profits

golf computer systems MMSA POS terminal is simply an input device, just like a computer, a touch screen, a keyboard or mouse. The accuracy of input is down to operator diligence and choices.

In order to counteract inaccurate input at the POS terminal, whether accidental or deliberate, we offer a metering system that measures dispensed liquid from beer taps, PostMix lines and ETN's on spirits. Metering is done independently of the POS terminal, so inventory is accurate whether or not the correct transaction is made at the POS terminal.

A graphical display of beverage dispensed versus till transactions immediately highlights where there are any discrepancies, and the date, time and location that such discrepancies occurred. Free drinks, wastage levels and/or theft are quickly tracked and traced to the source. Remember that every dollar saved at cost should be around $2.50 or more added to the bottom line.

With beer being measured at the point of dispensing and inventory having been updated immediately, there is no need to select brands at the POS terminal; the brand dispensed is already known and represented in the inventory files. Key strokes are minimised and staff choices reduced as only the size and strength of beer sold is required. This all leads to greater speed and accuracy at the POS terminal.

Member accounts

golf computer systems MMSOur POS solution offers a number of choices when it comes to how members can use accounts at points of sale. You can elect to operate any or all of the following features:

  • House accounts - allow members to charge to account
  • House levies - minimum spend levels tracked
  • Usable advance - prepaid funds that must be spent or forfeited by a date
  • E-wallets - member's own funds on a separate ledger for POS purchases
  • Prize ledger - allocate golf prizes to ledger and use to make purchases
  • Payments at POS - pay subs and/or top up e-wallet at POS terminals
  • Account balances - view and/or print current account balances
  • Loyalty rewards - add loyalty points or dollars for purchase levels
